Abe stops wearing government-sponsored masks

On Saturday, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe appeared for the first time since April, without wearing his government-sponsored mask.

It’s so small that it’s called “Abe no Kamen”, and it doesn’t sit on your face.

Abe’s new cloth mask was made in Fukushima prefecture. He wore it when he attended a government meeting to discuss the response to the pandemic held in his office.

A source said, “We will use various products from now on.”

The photo taken on August 1, 2020 is a T-shirt with the image of Prime Minister Abe wearing a face mask at a store in the Asakusa sightseeing area in Tokyo. (Joint)
